Septage Receiving Station VFA DM pilot test in US for FOG and digester/sludge cleaning

During the last year our sister company Enviro Care from Gurnee, Illinois, USA, decided to test our Septage Receiving Station VFA 1200 DM in FOG and digester/sludge cleaning applications.
  
The first test was carried out in Hampton Roads, VA, a major municipality receiving fats, oils and greases (FOG). A 4 weeks test was conducted using pure FOG from any and all sources. The unit was not protected by rock traps nor grinder. During the test no hot water, no high pressure water, no solvents were used.The result is, the Septage Receving Station VFA DM processed a total of 1330 m³/h without incident. The customer has now two stations in design that will be sole sourced.
  
The second test took place in Nashville Central Plant, Tennessee. The aim of the test was that of screening primary and secondary sludge and scum through our Septage Receiving Station VFA DM. The station was tested for four weeks, twelve hours a day. The unit was not protected by rock traps nor grinder. During the test no hot water, no high pressure water, no solvents were used. The result of the test was, over one ton of material was removed every day. After testing, the customer sole sourced 3 VFA 1400 DM and 3 washer compactor mod. VWP 3 all in AISI 316 SS.
